Comix-reality

“There is nothing in philosophy which could not be said in everyday language.” – and that’s  precisely what Adhiraj figured out when he read Calvin and Hobbes. Well, Adhi is more of a  comic buff than a serious philosopher, but he has enough insights into life and various spiritual texts to think about them in a connected way, and enough enthusiasm to bring them together for you in this blog. As much as he loves eating, he also loves feeding, and this ‘blog-food for thought’ is no exception. When he’s not blogging or reading comics or other books, he does the less interesting  things in life – like managing his family business, finishing his graduate degree from St. Xavier’s  Kolkata, working on his C.A. exam, doing yoga, playing squash, eating and  thinking about his next post for this blog.

Abhishek – or “Abhi” as his friends, and students call him – is as much of a comic buff as Adhi, but wishes he had 48 hours in a day so he could get more time to read them. He’s probably the more philosophical among the two and has a somewhat ‘spiritual’ bent of mind. And if he’s not co-writing posts for this blog, he’s probably teaching at the University of Chicago, or doing research for his PhD project at  the Regenstein Library, or maybe even cooking or writing poetry, or thinking about what to write in this blog. Or his other blog on his website, www.abhishekghosh.com
